As a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine, Dr. Liberty Kaufman takes a comprehensive approach to prevention, health and overall well-being; treats root causes of disease; and restores healthy function through a personalized patient experience. She has been an important part of Phoenix Wellness Center for the past 5 years. In addition to her work with human patients, Dr. Liberty is a certified animal naturopath and extends her expertise to pets. She has been a long-time resident of Johnstown but now lives with her family in Worthington and is currently accepting new patients.

Dr. Trudy Pieper, ND is board certified by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification and Accreditation Board. She is also a member of The Institute for Functional Medicine. She is a general practitioner who received the 2013 AMNA Higher Achievement Award as well as a certified dementia specialist; and has years of experience helping to balance hormones through testing and bio-identical hormones for both men and women.

Dr. Alicia Staneart is a Board Certified Doctor by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board and selected for the AMNA Achievement Award for 2023. She has lived in Johnstown for 17 years and is active in the community as well as her children's school. After experiencing frustration with western medicine, she was determined to help others with their health needs through a more traditional approach - naturopathic, complimentary medicine. She is a family practitioner and is also certified in memory care and dementia issues.

Dr. Kara Schrinner, 2024 AMNA Higher Achievement Award winner, is a Board Certified Doctor by the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board. She spent eight years in the pharmaceutical industry and saw firsthand how often wellness is left out of healthcare. Dr. Kara is very involved with local dog rescues and has completed over 500 hours of training as a yoga teacher and trainer. She lives in New Albany with her daughter and two dogs. Dr. Kara is a family practitioner and is accepting new patients.
